Design

Casting design

The grooved reamer is formed by pouring molten metal into a mold. When the metal cools and the mold is removed, what is left is a single solid flute body. Although molds are a huge investment for manufacturers, every reamer produced is the same and balanced to achieve the best performance. Insert the drill bit into the reamer and weld it firmly.

Body design

The grooved reamer is manufactured by welding several pieces of metal to the drill bit. This is a highly manual process that requires skill and attention to detail. If the manufactured reamer is not balanced, it may not rotate evenly in the hole and may cause premature wear.
